Data coverage

National and global weighted averages of the environmental impacts of agricultural and food production, aggregated from the farm-level cycles published on the HESTIA platform. Each release is a self-contained snapshot in JSON-LD: validated aggregated impact assessments with the cycles they describe, those cycles' sites, and every glossary term and bibliographic source any of them reference, so a release resolves without leaving the bucket. Alongside it sits a flat Parquet mirror of the mid-point and end-point indicators, for querying without parsing JSON-LD, and an index mapping product to country to year to aggregation. The 2025-05-01 release covers 70 products across 37 countries, spanning 1990-2025, with 54 indicators computed under 18 characterisation models (ReCiPe, LC-Impact, Environmental Footprint and others). Releases are added here once they are freely available to everyone.
