The research question
Which symptoms and daily limitations fluctuate within a person over time?
Proposed design
Prospective diary and patient-reported function measures, with clinical assessments or validated sensor tasks added only under a separate specification.
Illustrative design: 12-week diary with optional longer observation; setup and recruitment are scoped separately.
Data to collect
- Fatigue and reported mobility difficulty
- Sleep and daily-task interference
- Reported symptom worsening
- Treatment routines and changes
Planned outputs
- Symptom and function trajectories
- Within-person variability
- Feasibility for linking reports with clinical assessments
What we confirm with you
We agree the population, sample size, country, collection tools, analysis plan and budget. Collection starts after the required consent, ethics or other permissions and a signed scope are in place.
- Confirm MS diagnosis and appropriate cohort strata
- Relapse and progression require clinical definitions and confirmation
- Do not represent ordinary phone data as validated neurological biomarkers
Clinical records, laboratory results, photographs and device integrations are included only when access, collection quality and permitted use have been verified. Self-reported findings are identified as such.
