Study methods

Recruitment and participation feasibility

Assess whether a proposed study can reach eligible, willing participants and fit into their daily lives.

Study brief for prospective collection. Scope and recruitment are assessed on request. This listing does not include a completed dataset.

The research question

Which eligibility rules, visit requirements and study tasks are likely to limit participation?

Proposed design

Protocol review plus opt-in screening and participation interviews. Any referral pilot is agreed with the receiving study site.

Illustrative design: a scoped screening pilot and one interview per participant; setup and recruitment are scoped separately.

Data to collect

  • Screening completion and exclusion reasons
  • Availability and travel constraints
  • Digital-access and language needs
  • Willingness to complete proposed tasks

Planned outputs

  • Feasibility counts with clearly defined denominators
  • Recruitment and participation barriers
  • Protocol-burden recommendations

What we confirm with you

We agree the population, sample size, country, collection tools, analysis plan and budget. Collection starts after the required consent, ethics or other permissions and a signed scope are in place.

  • Secure consent before recontact or sharing participant details
  • Keep final clinical eligibility with the study investigator
  • Confirm active study status, geography and recruitment permission

Clinical records, laboratory results, photographs and device integrations are included only when access, collection quality and permitted use have been verified. Self-reported findings are identified as such.
